Sowmya Reddy, MD, FACOG
Dr. Sowmya Reddy is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who provides compassionate, hands-on care to women of all ages at Alpha OBGYN in Alpharetta and Cumming, Georgia. Dr. Reddy is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She completed her studies at Sri. Siddhartha Medical School, and postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynecology at Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences in India. She went on to complete her OB/GYN internship and residency at St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, where she served as a chief resident.
With over 17 years of private practice experience, Dr. Reddy has worked in the Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Milton areas for more than nine years. She has affiliations with Northside Hospital Forsyth, and Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. Dr. Reddy specializes in laparoscopy, minimally invasive gynecological surgeries, prenatal care, and high-risk pregnancy management.
She stays up to date with the latest medical advancements and practices evidence-based medicine using a professional, compassionate bedside manner.
